No. The custom firmware is already installed and the games are already on the memory stick. Switch it on, pick a game, play.

1,050, across more than 15 systems — PSP, PS1, Game Boy, Game Boy Color, Game Boy Advance, NES, SNES, Sega Genesis, Master System, Game Gear and Atari 2600. You can add or delete whatever you like.

Never. Everything runs from the console itself. It works on a plane, underground, or anywhere with no signal at all.

It's a genuine Sony PSP 3000 that has been professionally restored. It's taken apart, cleaned, fitted with a new shell and a new battery, then tested before it ships. Replacement components are new but non-official.

Yes. Connect the console to your computer with a USB cable and drag files onto the memory stick, same as a USB drive. Deleting games works the same way.

No. This is a PSP. It plays PSP games and emulated retro games from the systems listed above. It does not play current-generation games. We'd rather you know now than be disappointed when it arrives.

Email support@myplayher.store and we'll sort it out. One important thing: if your computer ever asks to format the memory stick, say no — formatting erases the preloaded games.
